Welcome to the Suwannee-North District
Welcome to the Suwannee-North District of the East Conference Lay Organization of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. We are a body of committed laypersons called to support the ministry of the Church, uphold its doctrine and discipline, and labor faithfully in the vineyard of our Lord.
In the proud tradition of the AME Church, we are dedicated to educating, training, and empowering the laity for effective Christian service. Through study of the Word of God, understanding of our Church polity, stewardship, evangelism, and active participation in the life of the Church, we seek to strengthen both our local congregations and the connectional body.
We believe that an informed and spiritually grounded laity is essential to the growth, unity, and mission of the Church. Through prayer, fellowship, and service, we strive to exemplify Christ-like leadership and to advance the Kingdom of God throughout our district and beyond.
Whether you are newly joining the Lay Organization or have labored faithfully for many years, we greet you with Christian love. We invite you to grow with us, serve with us, and stand united as we continue to carry out the great commission entrusted to the Church.
